The Daily Mile

The Daily Mile is an initiative aimed at encouraging children to run or jog for 15 minutes every day in their schools or nurseries. In Trench Road Nursery School we promote the Daily Mile and its benefits for our school. It promotes physical, emotional and mental health. It also is a social activity with opportunities to walk and talk and build relationships with classmates and teachers. We were delighted to be selected to feature in the Daily Mile promotional video. Dean from the Daily Mile NI team visited our nursery and made a video of the children and staff completing the daily mile. Well done everyone!
